Every semester the school like most medical schools holds a ceremony for new students. Current MDs (who are also faculty) fit the new students with their lab coats in order to officially welcome them to the study of medicine. The students may only wear unembroidered short lab coats until they are board certified MDs themselves. These pictures are of mine and my friends ceremony that took place Friday January 18th 2002!!
